Finland in 1909 by M. Pearson Thomson

The author, George William Thomson Omond (1846–1929), was a Scottish advocate and a prolific writer of history books. He wrote a travel guide series which reveals his discoveries in many different countries from Belgium to Denmark, from Japan to Norway. Finland offered him meaningful experiences during his happy wandering in the country. He visited both the urban attractions and tried the outdoor activities in the wilderness. The book gives us everything we need to spread the good word about Finland. He takes a quick look into history and tells us what the Finns are like.
