“The small Finnish community of London feasted today to celebrate Christmas at the Finnish Seamen’s Church in London. After following the Christmas worship with diligence of mind, the guests moved onto the coffee room, in which a diverse program was performed, with Finnish Christmas carols and remembrance of the home country. Mr Smedslund of the Embassy played several pieces by the Finnish composer Jean Sibelius on the piano.”
