The Finnish Embassy in London purchases an elegant building in South Kensington to function as its office

The London correspondent of the Finnish journal Suomen Kuvalehti writes that the Finnish Embassy in London has purchased a building to function as its office. The Finnish Embassy in London operated from a rental apartment in South London and then from the Savoy hotel for its first six months, until purchasing a building of its own from South Kensington.

“The Finnish community in London hopes that having our own building will unite our country men in this city more than before, and that many Finnish club nights and celebrations will be held in its beautiful ballroom.”
